Safety Warning: All load binders are tensioning devises and care must be taken to ensure the chain and cargo are not over tensioned. Failure to comply with this warning may result in personal injury and or damage to cargo and equipment. Do not use a bar to increase tension on the chain.

Ratchet Load Binders have a 50:1 leverage ratio. Take extra caution not to over tension the chain. Do not use chain less than 3/8 Gr. 70 chain with a ratchet style Load Binder. Failure to heed this warning may result in personal injury and loss or damage of cargo and equipment. Never use a bar with a ratchet load binder as this will certainly over tension the chain. When tying down heavy equipment, especially on rubber tires, be aware of any situation that would over load one tie down at a time.

McDaid BINDER LOCK    

The McDaid Binder Lock is a simple effective way of keeping your binders secured.  The U - shaped bracket is designed to fit over the binder handle, and lock into place with a spring steel clip.  The bracket can be fitted over the chain or the binder handle.  The lock can be clipped through the chain and arround the binder handle or through a hole on the binder handle and around the chain.
