Safe, effective, and trouble free operation of your Finishing Mower requires that you, and anyone else who will be operating or maintaining the machine, read and understand the Safe Operation, Maintenance, and Trouble Shooting information contained within this manual.
This manual covers the 48”, 60”, 72” side discharge, and 60”, 72”, 90” rear discharge models. Differences are explained where appropriate.
Keep this manual handy for frequent reference and to pass on to new operators and owners. Call your dealer if you need assistance, information, or additional copies of this manual.
WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of one year, from the date of original purchase, if for personal use; 90 days if for commercial or rental purposes. This warranty does not cover damage, defects, and failure in product which results from alteration, accident, misuse, neglect, installation of attachments not provided with the product, or improper maintenance.
Your sole remedy under this warranty shall be repaired as set forth above.
The Manufacturer shall not be liable for the consequential damage resulting from breach of this warranty or any implied warranty.
NOTE: The following parts are not covered under warranty:

TO THE NEW OPERATOR OR OWNER
This Finishing Mower is designed to cut a variety of grasses and other ground covers. Rotational power to the blades is provided by the tractor PTO. Be familiar with the machine before starting.
It is the responsibility of the owner or operator to read this manual and to train all other operators before they start working on the machine. Follow all safety instructions exactly. Safety is everyone's business. By following recommended procedure, a safe working environment is provided for the operator and bystanders around the worksite. Untrained operators are not qualified to operate the machine.
Many features incorporated into this machine are the result of suggestions made by customers like you. Read this manual carefully to learn how to operate the machine safely and how to set it to the provided maximum field efficiency. By following the operating instructions in conjunction with a good maintenance program, your Mower will provide many years of trouble free service.
PRE-OPERATION CHECKLIST
Although there are no operational restrictions on the mower when used for the first time, it is recommended that the following mechanical items be checked.
After operating for ½ hour or completing one acre:
Check all nuts, bolts, and other fasteners. Tighten to their specified torque level.
Tighten blade mounting bolts to their specified torque levels.
Check that the blades are in good condition.
Check the oil level in the gearbox. Add as required.
Check that the PTO driveline shields turn freely.
Lubricate all grease points.
After operating 5 hours and 10 hours:
Repeat items 1 through 5 of section A.
Then go to the regular service section. |
